How do i store the pastries?
Our pastries are very sensitive to temperature changes and its enviromental conditions, and should be consumed as fresh as possible. In order to enjoy our pastries to its fullest, please consider the following means of storage.
Cakes, Tarts, Chiffon mousse & Swissrolls
At bellton, we recommend our cakes to be stored in the freezer and. They should be thawed in the chiller 2 hours before consumption. Storing cakes in the freezer helps to retain the freshness and moisture of the cakes and would allow it to last up to a week. For products placed in refrigeration storage, we recommend it to be left no longer than 2 days.
Macarons
Macarons are to be placed in the refrigerator at all times. Exposure to room tempreture for extended periods may cause the filling to melt and cause the shells to slide apart.
Cupcakes, Madeleines
This category of pastries are the most sensitive to higher temperatures, due to their finishing and toppings. Prolonged storage would also dry out the pastry. We advise to refrigerate these products at all times and consume them on the day of receipt.
