Oreo cheesecake vs burnt cheesecake

Both cakes are cheesecakes. They do not eat the same. If you are stuck between them, use this comparison and then order from the product page — Oreo cheesecake or burnt cheesecake.

Texture

Oreo cheesecake has an Oreo cookie crumble base and a cream cheese filling with Oreo through it. It is a cookies-and-cream bake. Burnt Basque cheesecake has no crust. The top is caramelised and dark on purpose. The centre is a solid, creamy cheese custard.

If you want crunch and a familiar Oreo taste, take Oreo. If you want a plain, slightly bitter caramel edge and no biscuit base, take burnt.

Price and size

Oreo cheesecake: 15cm $42, 21cm $69. Burnt cheesecake: 15cm $43, 21cm $72. Neither SKU lists an 18cm option. For two people, 15cm is the usual order. For a small gathering, 21cm.

Which one for which occasion

Oreo is the easier birthday or “order online” cake — people know the flavour. It already ranks well for “Oreo cheesecake Singapore”. Burnt Basque is the one people request when they have eaten it in a café and want it at home. Both work as an anniversary cake if that is the flavour you actually like.
